USHA Handball Championship Series

The Handball Championship Series will consist of four indoor four-wall events and at least one (hopefully, more) outdoor event during the summer of 2006. Of course, this is in addition to the national one-, three- and four-wall prize events already scheduled, which will offer the same (increased) prize list as this year’s national events.

"One of the things that has attracted the interest of hosts is that these events are open to anyone," said USHA executive director Vern Roberts.

"They will be run by the local host and open to anyone, just like our national open singles. That will bring back the local competition and interest to the professional level of play.

Every sport needs a top level of competition for young players to strive to achieve-the Championship Series will be handball’s.  This is just the start of promoting handball to the masses.
